4.7 post patch SIEGING (by Server and faction)

ISRAPHEL SERVER: Asmodean Faction.

Gelk ingy forts: For the moment are rather popular to attend. Seeing good numbers of Asmo showing up. Getting some great fights. Asmo players do need to learn how to defend the Gelk/Ingy forts. It's a process. And it's not difficult, but it does require players to be disciplined in their approach to fort defense. Knowing what needs to be done, and not allow themselves to go chase PK's. Shiney squirrels are shiny, and are so tempting to chase.
But if they're not close into the fort when the shiney squirrels die, not GP award, no fort defence award, no cera medals, no nothing. Oh yea, ya might get AP.. but AP and noo Cera Medals?... no fancy PvP armor and accesories or weapons for YOU!

Abyss forts: Flight combat is still difficult as all ways and not for everyone. To many players and legions do not understand or even know about the 4.0 artifacts in the abyss and they are simply not being used. Abyss combat has not appreciably changed. With the changes in 4.7 its primarily a scramble to Asmo's to just go get GP for participating. 80 asmo's in the abyss for siege is still considered good participation... against 200 to 300
Elys on a typical upper abyss siege period.

Katalam/Danaria forts: Asmo side participation is all ready dropping. For some as of yet un- deduced reason the cheaters/hackers are especially rampant around these forts.

The new forts: Insufficient data and observation. They are new, participation will be high until the new wares off.

Cross server siege: Still beta. Not fully functional. Participate. Help get the bugs out.

THE SIEGE BUFF.

Not too shabby, but not overwhelming. Its not a game breaker, but it does allow the out numbered faction a chance to at least get a shot in before they die.

It needs to kick in FARTHER from the forts though. Right now its so tight into some of the forts on IS that the most Asmo players can't get close nuff to the forts to have it kick in. With the still extent participation imbalance on IS, its just not as effective as it could be.

Anyone on IS Ely side, please do plug in the ELY POV on the same forts.

OTHER ISSUES:

To many dual accounts. GP swapping is still going on. An awefull lot of this is happening far far to often. Only way its going to get caught and contained is GM showing up at sieges, finding where its going on and nailing the parties involved. Find a way to do it NCSoft where the GM activities are not being telegraphed! Don't tell yourselves when your going to do it. Don't schedule it. On the AION Script home site they constantly post WHEN and WHERE GM's will be in game, at times days in advance...(I consider Hackers the ENEMY. I try to make an effort to keep track of what they are doing)

It's a little difficult to catch the BAD GUYS when they know your coming. Apparently ya'll have an internal schedule on your spot checking. Uhh, the bad guys know your schedule boys and girls.
... fairs fair.. CHEAT! I mean it. cheat.. do not have a schedule for it. Suggest a weekly requirement of in game policing of x number of hours. Your GM's know the game, and where players go when. Take em off the leashes that limit them and let them do the job you hired em for.. Being Game Masters, and keeping the game fair and honest.

Fire Gleeful Ladder replied to xform and flight time

Greetings, Daeva, We understand your frustration and appreciate you reaching out to the community for help. Not receiving a verification email is a common issue that many players have encountered across various games. We’ve checked the forums and have a few potential fixes you can try. Hopefully, one of these will help you get into the game!

Possible Fixes for Verification Email Issue

Check Your Email Folders: This may seem obvious, but it's the most common solution. Please check your spam, junk, and other filtered folders. Sometimes, a legitimate email can be mistakenly flagged and sent there. Add Aion to Your Whitelist: To prevent future emails from being blocked, add the official Aion email address (often something like `noreply@aiononline.com` or an equivalent from NCSoft/Gameforge) to your email account's contact list or whitelist. This tells your email provider that you trust the sender. Try a Different Email Provider: Some email providers, particularly those like Hotmail, Outlook, or Live, are known to be overly aggressive with their spam filters. If you used one of these, consider creating a new account with a different provider, such as Gmail, and try the registration process again. Many players report better success with services like Gmail. Wait for the Email: Depending on server load and other factors, there can sometimes be a significant delay in receiving the verification email. In some cases, it may take several hours or even a full day to arrive. If you've just created your account, we recommend waiting a while longer before assuming it's a bug. Contact Aion Support Directly: If none of the above steps work, the best course of action is to contact the official Aion support team. They have the tools to manually verify your account or provide a direct solution. You can typically find a link to their support portal on the official game website. They will likely ask for your account name and the email address you used. We hope this information helps, and we look forward to seeing you in Atreia soon! Feel free to update us if you find a solution that works for you, as it may help other players with the same problem. Best regards, The Forum Moderator Team
